Last updated: April 20, 2026

Disc Golf with Cows ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile game provided by CreativeProcess, based in Alberta, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our game.

By playing Disc Golf with Cows, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

The game allows you to enter a display name or nickname. If you do not sign in, this name stays on your device only. If you sign in (see section 1.3), your display name is also stored in our cloud backup so it can sync between your devices.

If you contact us for support, we may collect:

1.2 Information collected automatically

Game data stored on your device

By default, all game progress, scores, settings, and statistics are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this data unless you choose to sign in for cloud backup.

Advertising data

We use Google AdMob to show ads in the game. AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect certain information, including:

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We do not have access to your individual ad interaction data.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data (such as health, financial information, or your contacts) through this game.

1.3 Optional cloud sign-in and backup

The game offers an optional sign-in feature so you can back up your progress and play across multiple devices. Sign-in is never required to play. By default, the game runs offline and stores everything on your device only.

If you choose to sign in, you can use:

When you sign in, the game uses Google Firebase Authentication and Firebase Cloud Firestore (operated by Google) to:

On iOS, even if you sign in with Apple, the game also asks the operating system whether you are already signed into Game Center on your device. If so, your Game Center player ID and alias are stored alongside your backup so we can offer Game Center achievements and leaderboards in a future update. No Game Center sign-in prompt is shown unless you tap "Sign in with Game Center" yourself.

We do not store: your email, password, friend lists, chat messages, location, photos, contacts, or payment information. There are no social features.

You can sign out at any time from in-app Settings. Signing out leaves your local progress on the device and stops any further sync. To permanently delete the cloud copy of your data and your Firebase account, sign in and tap "Delete cloud account" in in-app Settings; this removes your cloud record immediately. If you no longer have access to your account, you can email us at the address in section 10 to request deletion of your cloud data. We will ask you to confirm identifying details (such as your display name and approximate sign-in date) so we can locate the correct record. We cannot recover or transfer data to a different account.

2. How we use your information

We will not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party services

3.1 Google Firebase (sign-in and cloud backup)

If you sign in, we use Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to verify your sign-in and store the cloud backup described in section 1.3. Firebase is a Google service. Their privacy practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

If you sign in with Apple Game Center or Sign in with Apple, Apple also processes your sign-in. Apple's privacy practices: apple.com/legal/privacy.

If you sign in with Google Play Games, Google also processes your sign-in. Google's privacy practices: policies.google.com/privacy.

3.2 Google AdMob (advertising)

We use Google AdMob to show ads in the game. AdMob and its partners may use cookies, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies to:

Depending on your location, you may see a consent prompt or settings to control personalized ads.

4. Legal basis (if you are in the EU/UK)

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

5. Age rating and children's privacy

Disc Golf with Cows is rated 13+ and is intended for players aged 13 and older. Ads shown in the game are limited to a maximum content rating of Teen (T).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. By default, all game data is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to us. The optional cloud sign-in feature requires an Apple ID or Google account, which Apple and Google restrict to users 13 and older (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Data storage and security

If you do not sign in: all game data (player name, scores, statistics, and settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal game data.

If you sign in: a backup copy of the data described in section 1.3 is stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore on Google-operated servers. Data is transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections and access is restricted by Firebase security rules so that only your signed-in account can read or write your own backup.

Ad-related data collected by Google AdMob is stored and processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy and data security practices.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights over your personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, or data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details below.

You can also control certain data collection directly in your device settings, such as:

8. International transfers

Ad-related data collected by Google AdMob, and (if you sign in) sign-in and cloud-backup data handled by Google Firebase, may be processed and stored on servers located outside of your home country. Google provides information on its data transfer practices in its privacy policy.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the game after any changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
